The Likes and Dislikes of Marj Bagley is a stop-motion documentary about one woman's struggle for happiness.
Based on interviews with her family members and recreated in meticulous detail, we learn the stories behind some of Marj's strongest prejudices and personal preferences: her fierce hatred of birds or roses, her undying love for 90s easy-listening sensation Josh Groban, and even her "rankings" of her own children. This short explores what role our choices and desires play in obtaining happiness, do they matter, and, if not, what's the point of having them.
The project is about to launch into shooting and is expected to be completed early summer 2016. If you would like to know more, would like to donate, spread the word, or help in some other way, please email me!
